Larimar & Freshwater Pearl Bracelet

7.25" long, Larimar pebbles, 3mm Freshwater Pearl, sterling silver clasp.

Larimar is a form of blue Pectolite and is only found in the Dominican Republic, specifically from the island of Hispaniola. It has only been on the market since the 1970s but since there is only one known deposit, it has since been mined out. It forms in cavities within basaltic lava and some Larimar contains vivid red-brown Hematite inclusions. Larimar promotes calming, cooling, communication, feminine power and a connection to the goddess energies. It also soothes the emotional body.

Pearls come in many colors, usually depending on mollusk and water that it grew in, and are usually found in oysters. They are built up mother-of-pearl (calcium carbonate) and though the beads used in jewelry are typically small, they are extraordinarily compact which makes it very hard to crush them.
