1" long, 8mm Kunzite, 3mm Freshwater Pearl, sterling silver ear wires.
Kunzite is named after G.F. Kunz, a mineralogist who first described the stone in 1902. It is known to be a very pale stone and its color can fade over time. There is a main deposit in Brazil but others can be found in Madagascar, Burma, & the United States and it is a hard stone to cut because of it’s perfect cleavage. Aids in opening the heart to the energies of love. Pearls come in many colors, usually depending on mollusk and water that it grew in, and are usually found in oysters. They are built up mother-of-pearl (calcium carbonate) and though the beads used in jewelry are typically small, they are extraordinarily compact which makes it very hard to crush them.
